Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. When you take off Shrink to fit The text looks a little larger like 1 point larger when I print. Thanks anyway for the idea. No need to pursue this further. I think I am just going to upgrade this machine from W7 to W10 and see if this is any better on that OS. Is it important to preserve the original formatting of the webpage? You could copy the page and paste it into Word or Wordpad or even Notepad. After fooling with it some more I did get it to increase printed font size but the result is again not quite what was expected.

It seems that making the font bigger results in the right hand side of the articles getting cut off in varying degrees. Less for large font and a lot for bigger font. Sorry this didn't help.
